All campers are required to check- in at the visitor centre to pay and receive car pass prior to 6pm before proceeding to the campground.
Entry after 6pm will not be permitted.

KEY BOOKING PERIODS AND RELEASE DATES - 2024
Weekends are released 2 weeks prior on Friday (or as advertised) approx 9am
* School Holidays 27-13Oct (Released Fri 13 Sep).
* Summer Holiday 20 Dec 24 – 2 Feb 25 (Released Fri 20 Sep 24).
The Visitor centre is open for check-in/pay/collection passes - Each Day 1200pm - 6pm.
The Beecroft Weapons Range and Peninsula is open to the public when conditions allow.
Camping Bookings are released when Beecroft Weapons Range is forecast to be open to the public. These dates, were possible will be released 14 days prior. (scroll down)
The Range and Peninsula are part of the northern headland of Jervis Bay, located on the New South Wales (NSW) South Coast.
The area has been used for Defence training activities since the 1800s. It is included on the Commonwealth Heritage List and is protected by legislation under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.
Induction
All visitors to the area must read the Beecroft induction brochure, which outlines the safety hazards and risks as well as the relevant rules and regulations.
A hard copy of the brochure will be provided at the entrance gate, visitors will be provided with a hard copy induction brochure. A soft copy can be downloaded here.

Hazards and risks
The area contains a number of hazards and risks that visitors must be aware of, including:
Unexploded ordnance (UXO), i.e. live ammunition which has not detonated after being fired.
Natural environmental hazards, including cliffs more than 75 metres high.
Unpatrolled beaches where there may be dangerous conditions including rips, undertows and heavy seas.
Exposure to the natural elements, particularly high seas and coastal winds.
Fire Danger Rating (FDR) of Extreme will result in restrictions and Catastrophic days Beecroft Range will be evacuated.
Dangerous species of venomous snakes, venomous spiders and marine animals are also present.
